This is Xiara's second year with Step UP Theatre. She is in 12th grade at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts where her major is dance. She first got started in theatre at Bell Jr. High's Lilac Theatre in 8th grade. Xiara has performed for Junior Tehatre, Joan Kroc Center, and at her own school. She also got the chance to be a part of the La Jolla Conservatory this past summer. Her favorite audience to perform for is children, which is why she loves being a part of Step UP Theatre.

otherwise known as Kathy, is in her first year with Step UP Theatre. She is 17 years old and a senior at the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. In the future, she plans to attend SDSU and pursue a BA in theatre arts to become a theatre teacher. Kathy is currently taking tap, jazz, and ballet classes in addition to her acting classes at school. She is a 4.0 Honor student and has been throughout her entire high school career. In the past, she has worked with Junior Theatre, The Lilac Theatre, and the San Diego Lyric Opera.

is 15 years old and currently a sophomore attending the Preuss School at USCD. She is an honors student and wishes to attend the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts for her junior and senior years. This is her first year in Step UP Theatre and anticipates a great future with this group. Destiny is in the Preuss Scuool Triple Threat Show Choir and took ballet folklorico for four and a half consecutive years. After high school, she hopes to attend SDSU or NYU.

is 14 years old and attends CPMA Middle School. This is her first year with Step UP Theatre and it is like a second family to her. Sequoia loves theatre and is in Advanced Theatre at her school. Next year, she plans to attend the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts High School, and hopes to be a professional actress.

is 19 years old and comes from a family of six! She has participated in theatre programs with Wendy for around four years now. She enjoys every part of Step UP Theatre, as it is her second family away from home. Tyra is in her first year at Grossmont Community College majoring in English. She plans to attend law school after that to become an attorney. Tyra loves to dance and write poetry and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

is 16 years old and attends Kearny High School. Sabrina has participated in various performance groups since she was 8 years old. She has performed at the Prado Theatre in San Diego, CA doing tap and jazz dance. Currently, Sabrina is in her first year with Step UP Theatre and is also studying acting/modeling with Be Productions. Sabrina will also compete in the National American Miss (Teen) in August, 2009. Sabrina's interests include skateboarding, solving the Rubik's Cube (4x4 done. Working on the 5x5), reading, and watching movies. Sabrina plans to become a professional actor and model.
